peartree-entertainment is an independent development and film production company founded in 2010 by Lillian Birnbaum.
peartree’s goal is to create film and TV projects that are stimulating and entertaining for mind and soul…
peartree is aiming to bring to you the new voices of exciting writers and directors.
Lillian Birnbaum develops and packages the projects and seeks global financing to bring them to the screen.
Legally peartree-entertainment is based in Vienna but you will find Lillian working mostly at her desk in Paris where she has a contact address.

raised in Vienna, currently resides in Paris.
In 2010 she founded peartree-entertainment,a development and production company.
Between 1997 and 2009 Lillian Birnbaum developed and produced
award winning films for the legendary Swiss producer Arthur Cohn.

An adaptation from the memoir which was originally set in New York - Michael Greenberg and Nir Bergman retell the story of a sudden visionary crack-up of  young American girl Sally who came to live with her father in Israel .

The father, an American freelance professor and writer is living in Jerusalem and estranged from Sally´s mother in the US .

He has no other choice but to have his daughter hospitalized in Israel and is confronted with a number of challenging situations .
